Rhonda Marsh has always had a strong art background throughout her entire life. She teases that instead of paying much attention in school, she preferred to doodle and draw to pass class time. Lucky for Rhonda, this paid off in the long run, as she now currently owns not one, but two of the most successful tattooing businesses today in East Tennessee. Though the road has been a long and tough one, Rhonda credits her staff for their support in helping her achieve these goals and dreams. “Without a team that stands with you with the same mind and accord, these dreams would not have passed to reality” Rhonda states. “We are a team, and there is no “I” in “Team”.

Rhonda credits her strong artistic ability to her late Grandfather, who carved wood puppet marionettes for popular 1960 television show “The Howdy Doody Show”.

Rhonda was introduced to the art of tattooing from another well known female artist, Autumne Shields of Integrity Tattoo located in Maryville, TN. in which she carries much respect for today.

Rhonda favorite style of tattooing is New Skool. Bright color, bold outlines and fat exaggerated pieces are what she craves. Other types of tattooing that Rhonda enjoys are Cover-up work, Religious Pieces and Permanent Cosmetics. Rhonda has won many awards for her cover-up work, and is always up for the challenge that a good cover up brings.

Rhonda’s influences in the tattoo industry include such artists as Deano Cook, Guy Atchinson, John Dixon, Brandon Bond, Bob Tyrell, and Kevin and Shannon Johnson. She proudly wears award winning pieces from several of these artists.

Miss Rhonda has also been featured in several nationwide published Tattoo Magazines.
Her most recent publications have been featured in Crave and Tattoo Magazine. (insert a link to “The Press Box”) Rhonda has written many articles in relation to her work that has been published in the local newspaper and has even caught the attention of local TV News Media! She’s a busy girl!

Working the convention circuit tirelessly has gained Ms. Marsh not only publicity and exposure, but a deeper passion to contribute back to her industry. Rhonda educates fellow artists in the field of Permanent Cosmetics, allowing her knowledge of this part of the industry to be passed on to her peers. She has strong leaderships skills and thrives to give back to her industry.

In her “free” time, Rhonda enjoys doing different art mediums, such as Acrylic on Canvas Paintings, and Pastel Portraiture work. Her Pastel portrait work has received recognition from local news and has received props from the likes of Chad Kroeger and his band, Nickelback, in which Rhonda met and received his signature on one of her portraits of him. “And this is just the beginning” Rhonda promises.

“When I began performing permanent cosmetic procedures in 1997, my focus was on the science of the application of pigments and the administration of topical anesthetics to assure my clientele a most comfortable experience. As I progressed and acquired greater overall expertise, I was also giving stronger consideration to what aftercare procedures I should recommend to assure consistent and more rapid healing.

I evaluated various lotions, ointments and creams on the market and when H2Ocean’s products became available, I became aware that their product line was what I had been looking for.

Most aftercare products in tattooing today are petroleum based, which does not properly allow the skin to “breathe” and receive enough oxygen to reproduce new skin cells that are vital for the tattoo to heal effectively, thus resulting in loss of color. It has also been my finding that many clients have allergic reactions to these products thus making the healing process even more difficult. H2Ocean products have antibacterial and natural enzymes, minerals and vitamins that help regenerate skin cells quickly and protect them to insure fantastic healed results that surpasses all other products in the tattoo industry today.

I experimented with the H2O sea salt spray during the permanent makeup process and found it extremely beneficial in minimizing puffiness of areas where permanent makeup had been applied. When H2O introduced the sea salt foam product, I began giving it to my permanent makeup clients for use in aftercare when I found how effective it was in process of healing conventional tattoos. I am very pleased to see H2Ocean come out with an exclusive line of aftercare products for Permanent Cosmetics that caters to the more delicate areas of the skin. Since using H2Oceans products, I have noted a significant decline in the number of touch up procedures that are commonly seen in Permanent Cosmetics.

My studio, Southern Draw Skin Art Studio, has carried the full line of H2Ocean aftercare products for conventional tattooing and piercing since they were first introduced. Now we are proud to have expanded our inventory to include the new line of Permanent Makeup Aftercare products in which we can reliably recommend as the most beneficial treatment for our clients. H20cean is a remarkable company that is consistent in their products and continues to keep our industry educated in the importance of a healed product. Their customer service, integrity and knowledge are second to none. My reputation has been greatly influenced by offering my clients the best aftercare on the market so that not only is the initial procedure gratifying, but the healed results as well…. thanks to H2Ocean.”
