H2Ocean was in the Middle East this past February with Extreme Pro Team member Steve Joyner and his partner Patricia Cram, who were instructing at the Suspension Seminar and third annual SusCon in Tel Aviv, Israel. Hosted by Captain Howdy and Emily Cage of Captain Howdy’s Flying Circus, the-well attended three-day event consisted of piercing and rigging seminars which were put to use at the most successful SusCon Tel Aviv has had to date!

ProTeam member Ish Schuurbiers has been in an accident

Tattooish (Ish Schruubiers) has informed us that he has been Injured in a terrible accident where he has broken both of his Ankles. They are completely shattered, and he has already undergone three surgeries, and will need more. He is completely unable to bear weight on either leg at this point and will need extensive care. He is currently at Hartford Hospital in CT. He will have another five hour surgery this morning. The purpose of my contacting you is that he will need financial assistance, and frankly, we are trying to get him any help we can. The hospital is discharging him Friday to a hotel, The Fairfield Inn, Manchester CT, with only two nurse visits, due to insurance problems from Curaco (his home country). He is not able to travel at this time safely, and will need to stay near the hospital. This of course is a great expense to him and his assistant Sabrine who will be caring for him. Not to mention a terrible way to spend the holiday season. I have no idea how to go about finding a way to help him, other then to tell people what is going on with him, and seeing if anyone can help. Do you have any suggestions of how we can seek out help for Ish and Sabrine for living expenses and medical, prescription expenses during this time? Any help or suggestions you might have would be very much appreciated. If you have met Ish, you already know he is an amazing artist, but a more amazing person, with a heart of gold.
